DOLCE VITA MEETS SOUTH TYROLEAN HOSPITALITY AT A SPECTACULAR LOCATION
The lively little town of Lazise lies on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda. The medieval old town is car-free and surrounded by a well-preserved, crenellated town wall. The harbour basin extends deep into the town’s ramified alleys. Here you will find cosy restaurants, cafés and bars. In the park of the Villa of Count Bernini is one of the best preserved fortifications in Italy – the Scaliger Castle from the 9th century. Unfortunately it is not open to the public due to its location. In the district of Cola di Lazise another highlight awaits visitors: the Therme di Cola. From a depth of 160 metres water with a temperature of up to 37 degrees bubbles to the surface. The thermal bath is said to have healing properties.
Not far from the town of Lazise is also one of the largest leisure parks, Canevaworld. Movie fans can enjoy themselves on 300,000 square kilometres in the Movieland Studios. Countless swimming pools, diving platforms and slides lure visitors to the Aqua Paradise Park. There are also many hiking and trekking routes around the lake as well as trails of all levels of difficulty for mountain bikers. The cities of Verona and Milan are easily accessible by car.
