Located in the scenic mountain village of San Candido, the Post Hotel lies nestled in the heart of the Val Pusteria. After being completely renovated in 2014, the formerly small guest house has flourished into a unique boutique hotel specialising in wellness holidays for adults. The hotel owners, the Wachtler family, have skillfully created a fusion of traditional South Tyrolean culture and the modernities of present-day life, adding the finishing touches with just a hint of the luxurious. In 41 rooms and suites, elegant and modern interiors are combined with traditional elements and spectacular views over the roofs of the mountain village all the way to the Alta Pusteria. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy feel-good moments in the Vital Alpina Wellness-Oasis with indoor pool, saunas and relaxation zones. In the hotel restaurant guests can savour the sophisticated flavours of a contemporary and masterful fusion of South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine created by the team of chefs.
The La Nuvola suite stretches out over two floors, offering a total of 70 sqm for guests to relax and discover a sense of well-being. The spacious living area and bathroom are located on the ground floor. However, guests can find the real highlights on the upper floor, where they can snuggle in the floating bed suspended from the ceiling or relax in the free-standing bathtub.
The Val Pusteria stretches all the way from the town of Brixen in South Tyrol to Lienz, located in the Austrian region of East Tyrol. The mountain village of San Candido lies nestled at the heart of the Dolomites Three Peaks region, right in the middle of the Alta Pusteria. Shops, restaurants and cafés line the pedestrian streets, enticing visitors to while away the hours wandering around the market town. The village is surrounded by the Alta Pusteria with its soaring peaks of the Dolomites and unparalleled nature that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park and Sesto Dolomites both offer countless possibilities for hiking, cycling and climbing. During the winter season, visitors can enjoy the vast ski area of the Three Peaks region, with around 90 kilometres of pistes and 200 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails.
