LOBBY TALKS: Thomas Krobath, Gradonna Mountain Resort
LIFESTYLEHOTELS LOBBY TALKS
Which topics are on the minds of our LIFESTYLEHOTELS hoteliers?
What challenges do they face? What visions and ideas are they enthusiastic about?
In the LIFESTYLEHOTELS Lobby Talks the most creative minds in the industry provide insights into their world in very personal interviews.
In a first series, we look at the effects of the Corona crisis.
What is being done to make guests feel comfortable and safe? How do hoteliers experience the situation? What can we expect in the first summer holiday after the crisis? Can something positive arise from such a situation? The LIFESTYLEHOTELS hoteliers answer these and other questions – and they remain positive despite the challenge.
In this video we talk to Thomas Krobath, host at Gradonna Mountain Resort in Kals at the Großglockner.
More about Gradonna Mountain Resort:
The Gradonna Mountain Resort Chalets & Hotel is located directly on the Kals slope in the Großglockner Kals-Matrei ski area. The designer alpine hotel at an elevation of 1,350 metres offers pure natural pleasure inside and outside. The wood shingle facade and the large window fronts allow the landscape to “flow” into the hotel.
Sponsored by STROMMER.WINE:
The Strommer winery is located in Purbach on Lake Neusiedl in sunny Burgenland. The vines of junior winemaker Thomas Strommer grow along the Leithagebirge and the western shore of Lake Neusiedl. In the mild climate of the region, the grapes thrive on the slopes of the mountains in soils with a high proportion of shell limestone and slate, while they find more loam at the foot of the slopes. The grapes are harvested by hand, processed particularly carefully and then mature in the 150-year-old wine cellar. The family business offers a wide range of red wines, from the classically developed Blaufränkisch to St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Syrah and Cuvées aged in barrique barrels. The selection of white wines ranges from Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner and Muskat Ottonell to Chardonnay aged in barrique barrels. The wines can be tasted in the cellar tavern of the Strommers.
