Boutiquehotel SuiteSeven Meran/o : on the laubengasse

On the Laubengasse, Meran’s historical shopping street, guests with high demands will find a holiday home from home in a historical town house: in the SuiteSeven.

Twelve suites

Twelve individually created suites combine modern design with maximum comfort. There you will find made-to-measure sofas and upholstered beds from Cristian Home, Foscarini lamps, and Tom Dixon easy chairs. The Rooftop Suite Bella Vista offers unimaginable views from the skilfully positioned roof windows, and for the hours of darkness there is a cinema TV. In the Luxury Suite Zeno, on the other hand, lu xurious gold meets black marble. It scores on cold winter days with heat from inside and outside – on its own fitness device and in the private steam aroma sauna. But whichever suite: each is suffused with a touch of extravagance, combined with luxurious comfort.

During the gourmet breakfast, guests might guess who is behind SuiteSeven: the Family Siebenförcher, owners of Meran’s traditional butchers and delicatessen shop, which can also be found on the Laubengasse.

Meran’s most central boutique hotel Suiteseven is a secret tip for individualists.

Meran

But shopping on the Lauben, Meran’s 800- year-old shopping street, is not the only pleasure that a winter holiday in Meran has to offer: from the end of November to Epiphany the highlights also include the Christkindlmarkt on the spa promenade – with typical treats of the region and traditional handicrafts – or a visit to the Terme Merano/Therme Meran with its unmistakeable glass cube of the architect Matteo Thun.

Not least of all, the five skiing areas in the Meraner Land offer attractive routes for skiers and snowboarders, but also for bobsleigh riders, cross-country skiers, and ski tourers. Those looking for cultural high-lights will find them in the two theatres of Meran – the Teatro Puccini and the Theater in der Altstadt – or in the varied range of museums. After sport or culture you can relax with a drink at the bar of the SuiteSeven – or on the cosy sofa in the suite.
