Creating the chalets wasn’t about opening another place to stay, but about continuing a family tradition. Even the location tells a story: the chalets were built on the site of a former campsite, a place where people had already been coming to unwind and spend time together long before the first chalet was built.

What does “Agrad” actually mean?

In the Bavarian dialect, “Agrad” means “just right.” For the Heinrichsberger family, however, it means much more than that. Werner Heinrichsberger once described it like this:

“Agrad is the moment when everything simply feels right.”

That idea can be found throughout the entire experience. It’s not about one outstanding feature or a long list of amenities. It’s about creating the kind of moments that quietly stay with you long after you’ve returned home.
