Hotel Heureka, Venice – Revived Elegance in the Heart of the Serenissima
A Venetian palazzo rediscovered and gently transformed.
In Venice’s Cannaregio district, Hotel Heureka is a place where history, craftsmanship and hospitality meet in quiet harmony. Ten individually designed rooms celebrate the Venetian spirit – generous, inspiring, timeless.

Where past and present converse
Once an abandoned palazzo, it was lovingly revived by Angela Valach and her sons Florian and Christoph Valach. Instead of creating small hotel cells, they chose spaciousness – rooms that breathe, connect and tell stories.
“If you truly want to transform something, you must do it from the ground up.”
– Angela Valach
Venetian craftsmanship plays the leading role. Materials were chosen with reverence for the city and its traditions, in collaboration with local artisans. Indian marble seating areas and Nepalese birdhouses enter into dialogue with Venetian design. The result: a place that feels like home, even far away from it.

Both Palazzo and Hotel
Hotel Heureka remains a Venetian palazzo – yet it is also a contemporary haven. Every room is unique, every detail thoughtfully curated. It’s a house that bridges cultural heritage and modern design, inviting guests to arrive, exhale and simply be.
