Uderns, Zillertal · Opening Dezember 2026

A Modern Nature Resort Between Mountain & Valley

Nestled in the alpine landscape of the Zillertal and directly located at the Golfplatz Uderns, THE GREEN is a new-generation lifestyle resort dedicated to conscious relaxation, active regeneration and sustainable luxury. Contemporary architecture meets natural materials, creating a place where movement, mindfulness and nature exist in perfect balance.

Situated between valley floor and mountain panorama, THE GREEN is an ideal base for year-round activities – from golfing, hiking and biking in summer to skiing and winter sports in the nearby Hochzillertal and Spieljoch ski areas.

Living Spaces with a Sense of Retreat

The resort offers 75 rooms and suites, designed as calm refuges. Clear architectural lines, warm lighting concepts and natural materials such as wood, stone and refined textiles define the interiors. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up views of the surrounding mountains.

A special highlight are the Water Suites, located directly by the lake, offering an immersive nature experience with an added sense of privacy.

Wellness Between Flora & Fauna

Spanning 3,300 m², the spa and wellness area is conceived as a dialogue between nature, tranquillity and regeneration. At its heart lies the THE GREEN Lagoon, a chlorine-free natural swimming lake. Infinity pool, Sky Garden with Sky Pool, spacious relaxation lawns and quiet zones complete the experience.

The wellness concept is divided into two distinct worlds:

The offering is complemented by massages, cosmetic treatments, a panoramic fitness room and outdoor yoga with mountain views.

Conscious Cuisine

Culinary philosophy at THE GREEN focuses on regionality, seasonality and quality. Ingredients are sourced from local farmers and the resort’s own hunting grounds. Guests enjoy breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening buffets that are light, natural and thoughtfully prepared.

For All Generations

THE GREEN welcomes couples, families, solo travellers and active guests alike. A Kids Club (“Jungle Club”), planned teens’ areas, creative programmes and family-friendly spa zones ensure space for shared experiences as well as individual retreat. Dogs are also welcome and thoughtfully integrated into the resort concept.

Sustainability as a Core Value

Sustainability at THE GREEN is not an add-on, but a guiding principle. The resort is built using energy-efficient timber construction and passive house standards, powered by photovoltaics, geothermal energy and biomass heating. Regional materials such as Calser marble, green roofs, natural cosmetics, waste reduction concepts and comprehensive e-mobility solutions reflect a deep respect for nature and resources.

THE GREEN represents a new interpretation of alpine hospitality – modern, mindful and deeply connected to the landscape of the Zillertal.

Where architecture, art, and alpine serenity meet

Tucked away in the heart of Brixen – between alpine charm and urban edge – lies Badhaus, a striking architectural retreat that fuses heritage and modernity in bold, elegant ways. Built on the site of a former public bathhouse, the hotel blends old and new with a design that is sculptural, thoughtful, and full of light.

Designed by renowned architecture firm bergmeisterwolf, two distinct structures form the architectural core of the hotel, crafted from just four carefully selected materials: clay bricks, copper, fluted glass, and steel. Exposed concrete is used sparingly, appearing only in the bar interior and guest rooms, where it adds a clean, contemporary contrast.

The new hotel was constructed on historic ground – once home to the city’s public bathhouse. The hotel represents a completely new architectural creation. Surrounded by historic buildings, it positions itself with quiet confidence in its contextual setting, respecting the character of the neighborhood while adding a bold, modern presence.

The two towers are connected by open-air walkways, which also serve as access to the rooms – a design gesture that reflects transparency, lightness, and thoughtful spatial flow.

The Rooms

The 21 rooms – including 4 suites and 17 double rooms – are designed with understated elegance and a natural material palette. Local ash wood, aqua-green quartzite stone, and fine Italian linen create a warm, tactile atmosphere that blends simplicity with sophistication.

A small rooftop terrace on the fourth floor, nestled between the building volumes, reveals a gentle panorama of the nearby hills and vineyards – a quiet retreat to pause and take in the landscape.

Just a few steps from the hotel lies the Adler Bridge, a small but striking viewpoint. From here, guests can admire the Plose, Brixen’s iconic local mountain – a symbol of both tranquility and adventure, where the pulse of the city meets the rhythm of nature.

Food & Drink

At the heart of the Badhaus experience is the Viertel Bar – a welcoming meeting place for guests and locals alike. Here, creative snacks, curated drinks, and a wide selection of local craft beers are served, including the house-brewed Viertel Bier, produced just outside Brixen at the Braubasis brewery in Schabs.
With its cozy, stylish atmosphere, the bar invites guests to linger and enjoy the flavors of the region in a casual, design-forward setting.

Art & Architecture

One of the hotel’s defining features is its integration of contemporary art. Renowned artist Michael Fliri created the stunning light installation “Liquid Starry Sky”, which floats above the lobby like a luminous river of sculptural hands – a symbol of connection, transformation, and shared experience.

At the entrance, Fliri’s surreal sculpture “Bathrobe” greets guests with a sense of humor and introspection, playfully blurring the lines between body, space, and identity.

Badhaus is more than just a hotel – it’s a living, breathing artwork, made for lovers of design, culture, and contemporary aesthetics.

The Surroundings

Brixen is one of South Tyrol’s oldest towns, rich in history, culture, and nature. Explore its baroque old town, hike into the Dolomites, or visit nearby Neustift – a village known for its wine and art.
Badhaus is the perfect base for discovery – and at the same time, a place you’ll want to simply stay and enjoy.

Design Concept: “Aimai” – The Art of Subtle Boundlessness

The Hotel K5, located in Nihonbashi Kabutocho, is a striking blend of history, culture, and modern design. Originally constructed in 1923 as a bank, the building was transformed into a unique design hotel in 2020. Nestled next to the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the K5 bridges traditional Tokyo with the trendy eastern districts. Its central location makes it ideal for exploring landmarks such as Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza, all within walking distance.

“Aimai” – The Art of Subtle Boundlessness

The Hotel’s design, envisioned by the Swedish architectural studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, revolves around the Japanese concept of Aimai, meaning “vague” or “ambiguous.” In Japanese culture, this term has a poetic and positive connotation, emphasizing openness and harmony.

This principle permeates the hotel’s spaces: boundaries between areas are softened, and functions blend seamlessly. The library doubles as a bar, the café transitions into a lounge, and the wine bar merges with the restaurant. Materials like cedarwood, Japanese stucco, and concrete, paired with bespoke furniture and calming indigo-dyed curtains, create an atmosphere of tranquility and balance.

The lush greenery curated by Yard Works enhances this ambiance by integrating nature into the urban setting. Plants are thoughtfully placed throughout the hotel, transforming it into a green sanctuary amidst the concrete-heavy Nihonbashi district.

Rooms: Fusion of Elegance and Functionality

The Hotel K5 offers a variety of thoughtfully designed rooms that combine comfort, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Each room features custom-designed furniture, vinyl record players, and a curated selection of books, emphasizing individuality and sophistication. Indigo-dyed curtains add intimacy, while high ceilings and open layouts foster a sense of spaciousness.

Those looking for an exciting way to stimulate circulation will enjoy the chilly temperatures of the plunge pool. Meanwhile, behind the elaborately carved wooden door, guests can soothe tired muscles in the sauna, enjoy moments of unwinding in the hammam and sample a menu of treatments inspired from all corners of the world. Man’s love affair with the sauna is an enduring, worldwide relationship that dates back to antiquity. As soon as man discovered how to create fire, he wasted no time in discovering how to benefit from its warm embrace. It is universally human to seek refuge in the warmth of a sauna. Although the concept has its roots deeply intertwined with Scandinavian culture, every civilisation has its own version. From Turkish hammams and Japanese onsen to Mexican temazcals and Russian banyas, humans have sought heat for healing and purification since the dawn of time.

Anthony Picq, founder of NAOKŌ healing hotels, parent company of EcoHotel El Agua, believes that the body can regain optimal health with the right healing protocols, he is the one who brings the hotels philosophy to life. As a naturopath, phytotherapist and self-taught hygienist, Anthony has instilled these practices into a wide range of treatments.

Space

With elements of wabi-sabi and Feng Shui design, the spa reflects the relaxing, minimalist aesthetic of Villa Olivo and its surroundings. Natural hues and handcrafted artwork in the corners soothe racing thoughts. The design details reflect a wellness journey that spans the globe. Awaken your senses

On the edge of the National Park of the Llevant Peninsula near the town of Artà in northeast Mallorca, the famous Mallorcan architect Toni Esteva has created a wellness hotel in a class of its own – Es Racó D’Artà. A retreat full of color and texture, unique smells and tastes, sounds of nature, elegant art and minimalist architecture.

In addition to classic Mallorcan life, Es Racó D’Artà offers a variety of workshops from culinary, agriculture, handicrafts, meditation and yoga. Alone or in a group, guests can explore the surrounding area on foot, by bike, or on horseback. Afterwards, the spa and wellness area with whirlpool and sauna offers the perfect place to unwind.

Inspired by the origins of Mallorca

The old Mallorcan estate from the 13th century is a great project of nature, culture and sustainability. On almost 200 hectares of land, in addition to the hotel complex, there are vineyards, orchards, wheat fields and beehives for its own honey production. A place to connect with oneself and one’s surroundings and to follow new spiritual paths.

The 34 double rooms are spread throughout the grounds, some in the main building, some in casitas with private pools. Minimalist design and noble, natural materials characterize the interior and reflect the harmony with nature. Ecological and regional diversity can also be found throughout the grounds – in the hotel’s own restaurant in the form of traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

An unexpected Hotel experience

Dexamenes Seaside Hotel is located on one of the most unspoilt coastlines of the Western Peloponnese, on Kourouta Beach. The former winery, located directly on the sea front, consists of wine tanks, which have been minimally restored to retain their original industrial appearance, and are laid out in two parallel rows of concrete blocks with an extension in steel frame construction.

The renowned Athens architecture firm k-studio was commissioned to redesign the former wine factory. From the outset it was clear that the strong history and raw beauty of the existing buildings should not only be preserved, but be showcased in a design that would breathe new life into their walls. The new design compliments their brutality with elegant interventions and transform their austere functionality into a place of calm, comfort and relaxation. A complimentary palette of concrete, steel, timber and engineered glass ensures that new construction elements tread lightly, leaving the existing buildings relatively untouched and retaining their strong presence.

34 industrial chic suites in converted former wine tanks dating back to the 1920s are available for design-loving guests to enjoy an exceptional stay from April to October. Many of them have a wide covered terrace overlooking the Ionian Sea. The patina of exposed interior concrete walls contrasts with engineered glass partitions and polished terrazzo floors while elements of timber add dashes of warmth in a nod to the area’s nautical history. Dexamenes is an architectural slice of Greek trading history on the mainland’s western Peloponnese coast.

In addition to its architectural roots, the luxury resort also focuses on regional culture and local experiences. Considering that the Peloponnese peninsula has more vineyards and grape varieties than any other region in Greece, it is not surprising that local specialities and viticulture play an essential role at Dexamenes Seaside Hotel. The kitchen prepares a variety of choices from breakfast to dinner that vary from degustation menus to hyperlocal meals with traditional references, putting in high priority the dietary preferences of each guest. In addition to the hotel’s open kitchen laboratory, where cooking courses and wine tastings are offered, guest can indulge in Greek cuisine at the taverna or enjoy a drink at the beachfront bar-lounge. The boutique “Bakaliko” with local products and delicacies also embodies the regional culture of Greece. You can find peace and relaxation in an ex wine Silo Tank converted into a contemporary sanctuary where therapies such as yoga, sound healing and massage treatments take place.

Best Room – Beachfront WineTank Suites

Stay in a former wine tank that is now almost monastic in its pared down design, letting you unwind to views of the sea. A comfortable 30sqm room of carefully organized and beautifully detailed space, designed to sit within the exposed concrete walls of the tank without inhibiting their unique texture and patina. Each room features a Cocomat double bed adjacent to a single bed that can also act as a sofa, an open wardrobe and storage area and a bathroom separated by a wall of textured glass that allows light from the window to reach the back of the tank. A huge double sink and separated WC bring a sense of luxurious comfort to the minimal, pared down interior.
